Happy New Year to everyone!

Christmas has gone, New Year celebrations finished, and most mums are busy now with school books and uniforms with the first day back only a few weeks away.

With all this chaos comes the desperate need to start fresh and declutter. If you're like me, one of the first things on my list (next to promising to be healthy) is to throw out everything that hasn't been used in years. Everything from toys, clothes - mine and the kids, books, linen sets, the list goes on. With all the new gifts that were received over Christmas I'll be pulling out a few more storage tubs just to help store and keep the lounge room looking a bit more manageable!

MOR-STOR'S DELIVERIES OVER CHRISTMAS. Our online store is always open for shopping - 24 hours / 7 days a week!

However over the Christmas holiday period we will not be able to deliver any orders from the 20th December - 4th January 2012.

It's taken a little while but our new Ava Set 2 Storage Cubes have finally arrived! With the overwhelming response on the Ava Change Table Set, we had so many mums asking us for larger baskets in white to match. So we listened to you, and now have 2 large sized storage baskets that fit perfectly at the bottom of the change table or neatly into an Ikea Expedit Bookcase.

The large cube is sized at 32W x 35D x 25Hcm, whilst the medium cube is 30W x 32D x 25Hcm. Each basket is cotton lined and is perfect for storing baby blankets, wraps or soft toys.

Every year in August, Melbourne has it's turn to host a number of trade fairs where retailers from across the country get to see everything and anything to do with Children's products, Home Living, Gifts and Jewellery. Shop owners get to do their Christmas and Summer buying all in one location whilst businesses like mor-stor, get the opportunity to meet new businesses and find new stores to stock our range.

This year we decided to exhibit at Kids Instyle and Reed. Two trade shows back to back which took a few extra people to man, but was definitely worth it! Our aim is to get mor-stor in 'mor' 'stores' so that our lovely customers have greater access to see, touch and buy our range without having to buy online.

Next week, we will post a list of all the new stores that will be stocking our range. Hopefully there will be one close to you, so that you can finally see just how practical and suitable our storage is for your home.

Pinky Paris Room Makeover is a new children's interior fit out from the very talented stylist Nicole Rosenberg from Little Liberty. Why do we love this room makeover so much? Well it features our Cooper 2Pk Canvas Cubes in Baby Pink and they are in our favourite bookcase - the Ikea Expedit. What more can I say other than take a look at the pics for yourself!

Little Liberty are located in Melbourne and can create a room for newborns through to teenagers. There's nothing Nicole hasn't been able to work on and every room she styles takes on instant life and transformation. I am one big fan!

A mix of Hot Pink and soft Baby Pink have worked really well and as this child grows, a few toys may move out but apart from that you really wouldn't need to make any changes to this colour palette and style. Its chic, pretty and has 'girl' all over it!

Our Cooper 2Pk Cubes in Pink are featured in the Ikea Expedit Bookcase and have provided a great storage solution for the bedroom. Allowing books or doll dress ups to be easily stored and out of sight keeps the room neat and tidy. Exactly what any mum would want!

We love it when our customer's send us photos of the new room that they have re-organised using our storage tubs and baskets. This new photo is of a home office and children's play room that has had a major transformation by simply purchasing some Ikea Expedit Bookcases and the Madison Water Hyacinth Storage cubes in large. Previously this room housed a large Thomas Play Table, enormous amounts of Lego and a plethora of toys of toys on the floor. Sound similar to your house? Then the side wall was home to the study and office area which was slowly being taken over by the toys.

Karen decided to purchase two of the 5 x 5 Ikea Expedit Bookcases in White. Fortunately she could fit them side by side in her room. Office folders, discs, computer and phone hardware all went on the top shelves, whilst the bottom level was used to separate toy cars, small blocks and Lego.

Our Madison Water Hyacinth cubes in Large are a perfect fit and they have allowed the floor area to open up so that the boys have got somewhere to make and create their large Lego pieces.

The desk area is now uncluttered as the files and folders have a home and overall this is a room that has had a complete storage makeover and we just love it!

Our exclusive VIP Sale started on the 1st June and boy did it create a huge buzz with everyone! We have definitely been kept busy from all of the incoming orders and enquiries for our range.
